A Garden from Scratch – Four Months of Transformation in Podlasie This garden began as an empty plot of land, with sandy soil, landscaping fabric and a few sticks in the ground. In just four months, it was transformed into a naturalistic garden with winding paths, informal flower beds, ornamental grasses, perennials, young fruit trees and raised vegetable beds. From the initial idea and plant selection to preparing the ground and bringing the design to life, we planned and completed the entire project ourselves. It’s an example of how an apparently empty space can become a living garden that changes with the seasons and develops its own character with every passing year.

Garden Creation, Improvement and Restoration in Podlasie

From an idea to a garden that truly grows

Not every garden needs to be designed from scratch. Sometimes, all it takes is practical support to bring an existing design to life. In other cases, a carefully considered adjustment is needed, or a garden that has gradually lost its character needs to be brought back to life.

We focus on the practical side of creating and maintaining gardens. We help bring existing garden designs to life, select plants suited to local growing conditions, solve problems with established planting schemes and improve areas that do not work well in everyday use.

We do not replace landscape architects. Instead, we complement their work with practical experience and knowledge gained directly in the garden. Our aim is to ensure that planned solutions work not only on paper, but also in real-world conditions.

How can we help you?

Do you already have a garden design?

We can help turn it into a practical plan of action. We advise on plant selection, assess the feasibility of the proposed solutions, identify potential challenges and recommend adjustments where necessary. We can also support you throughout the implementation process, helping ensure that the finished garden remains true to the original concept.

Does your garden look different from what you expected?

Do the plantings lack cohesion? Are your borders becoming overgrown? Are plants struggling to thrive or requiring more maintenance than anticipated?

We will assess your existing garden and look for the causes of these problems. We then suggest improvements that help you make better use of your outdoor space, without unnecessarily starting from scratch.

Would you like to improve the garden you already have?

We help refine planting schemes, reorganise borders, adjust plant compositions and restore neglected or unsuccessful areas of the garden. Our recommendations take into account the conditions on your plot, the needs of the plants and the practicalities of ongoing maintenance.

Our goal is to create a garden that looks beautiful, develops in the right direction and continues to bring you enjoyment long after the work is complete.

From a bare plot to a garden – a project in Podlasie

This garden began as a completely bare plot: sand, landscape fabric and a few sticks pushed into the ground to mark out future planting areas.

In May, we began transforming the space, planning and carrying out the work ourselves. Four months later, the garden had taken shape, with winding paths, defined borders, perennial and ornamental grass plantings, young fruit trees and raised vegetable beds.

We also incorporated practical solutions, including a drip irrigation system and bark mulch for the borders. From the beginning, the garden was conceived not merely as a composition of plants, but as a functional outdoor space that would be enjoyable to use and manageable to maintain.

We chose a naturalistic style, built around varied plant forms and seasonal changes. In summer, echinaceas, salvias and loosestrife bring colour to the garden. In autumn, ornamental grasses and changing foliage take centre stage.

This is only the first growing season. The plants need time to mature, fill out the borders and achieve their intended effect. The garden will continue to develop and grow in character over the coming years.

We share this project because it reflects our approach to garden creation: from assessing the site and planning the layout to selecting plants, incorporating practical solutions and carrying out the work.

We work with real gardens, not just the vision on paper

A well-planned garden should take into account more than aesthetics. Soil conditions, sunlight, water availability, the mature size of plants and how the space will be used are all essential considerations.

That is why we combine an eye for composition with a practical assessment of what is likely to thrive in a particular location.

We do not promise that every garden will look exactly like a visualisation. Instead, we help you make informed decisions, avoid common mistakes and create outdoor spaces that can become more beautiful with time.
