A Small Townhouse Garden

A garden should be suited to its location, growing conditions and the needs of its plants. Rather than replacing what is already there unnecessarily, we look for solutions that bring out the garden’s potential and allow it to be enjoyed for years to come. Our work doesn’t end with transforming a garden. We also provide ongoing care to help it thrive. Through regular attention to the soil and plants, we help maintain the results of our work season after season.
A Townhouse Garden – A New Lease of Life After 14 Years
After 14 years, this small townhouse garden needed a refresh. Rather than starting from scratch, we focused on restoring its health and making the most of the plants already growing there.
We removed the landscaping fabric, improved the soil, and added organic matter and natural fertilisers. We pruned the plants, removed the Virginia creeper, and preserved those that could be saved, either leaving them in place or transplanting them to more suitable locations. We filled the gaps with new plants and supported the recovery of the existing greenery using biological methods.
The first results were visible after just two months. This project shows that even a small, established garden doesn’t always need radical changes. Sometimes, all it needs is better growing conditions, thoughtful care and time to regain its vitality.
